With Black Friday sneaking up on us again this year it felt right to put together a few gift guides here on CarmineMag.com. Without further adieu, here is the first gift guide for the guys on your list (or yourself):

See It At: ThinkGeek.com
Description: The hidden bookshelf is an L-shaped wedge of metal holds your books up against the wall while a tiny clip holds the inside cover of the book up, giving your larger books the illusion of sticking to the wall as if by magic!

See It At: Modofly.net
Description: A Moleskine notebook (you choose the size and paper style) with a laser-etched design of John Golden’s Ultraray gun.

See It At: Fred Flare
Description: A guide to stencils by Ed Roth. It includes 25 laminated card stock stencils while the photos provide inspiration on the step-by-step process.

See It At: SupermarketHQ.com
Description: A seatbelt, zipper and fleece laptop sleeve done by Iterrobang.

See It At: Fred Flare
Description: Keri Smith, noted author of the Living Out Loud and the blog Wish Jar Journal, uses her unique drawing and handwriting style to help anyone find and release their inner artist or activist. This visually exciting activity book—full of step-by-step exercises, cut-out projects, sticker ideas, and more—has both fun assignments and handy tips to help you unleash your creative energy into the streets where you can really make an impact. From the quick exercises—leaving books for strangers to find, chalking quotes on the sidewalk—to the more involved—making a “wish tree,” guerilla gardening, or making your own stencils—The Guerilla Art Kit contains everything you need to put your message out into on the world.

See It At: Ponoko.com
Description: A stencil and geometry set integrated to form a single sheet which can be filed along with paper in a folder.

See It At: Veer
Description: It’s word association. You say “I’m a designer,” and they hear “I draw pictures all day.” It would take too long to explain what you really do, so take the words right out of their mouth and wear them proudly. As rumors go, this one isn’t half bad.

See It At: Supermarket HQ
Description: Knife wall hooks. Accessory hooks for the wall. Easy to install! Size: 14.5cm L x 1.6cm W x 2.6cm D Available in matte black only.

See It At: Fred Flare
Description: Calling all creative types! This book is gonna be your new best friend. Learn how to design and make handy things such as chic business cards, websites, logos ‘n more! ons of great projects, tutorials by designers working in the industry and entertaining interviews, bios & dazzling color photos.

See It At: Supermarket HQ
Description: Creative Juggernaut t-shirt.

See It At: Ponoko
Description: “When I got my iPhone last year I loved having everything important in one place, and the ability to get rid of unnecessary devices, documents and information I kept with me. I would frequently snap photos of class assignments printed on copy paper so I wouldn’t have to worry about losing them. The documents normally came out pretty clear, but it was tough to keep still while taking the pictures. I set out to make something that would ensure clean, consistent pictures of documents taken with the iPhone.” This one is done in cardboard, but it is also available in mdf.
